The ASMBC program focuses on classifying & coding diagnosis & procedures.

 

Students who successfully complete the ASMBC degree program may:

• Have a sophisticated understanding of the information technology
systems used in the collection, interpretation, analysis & retrieval
of patient information, as well as financial, medical & administrative data

• Possess the abilities required in the transference of patient medical
records to insurance claims & billing for services provided
• Have the cultural, professional, & communications skills that could allow
